Congrats Lariza.. welcome the GODFATHER

Saturday was the day of my little cousin Lariza's Confirmation. She had gone through the whole year long procedure and was ready to "re-new" her believes. I remember when I did that half a decade ago. Good experience. I honor you for choosing it as well! When I was going through my confirmation I got to choose Godparents, people you feel can guide and help you like your own parents do, you can call them "replacement parents". I remember we were allowed to pick as many as we wanted, however for Lariza she was only allowed to pick two: one man and one woman. Which made this also a special day for me. She actually choose me as one of her Godparents. Hehehe.. I remember when she called me to ask if I wanted to take the "job". Hehehe.. of course I did. Lariza is a really good girl, and I can see a lot of myself in her, so it would be nothing less than an honor to be picked by her to be a Godparent. Much appreciated Lariza! And I promise that I'll do what the job takes, and more. I gotchu. Even more good times ahead.

Anyways, the day went by really nicely. The weather was beautiful and the ceremony was all goodie. The best part though was the dinner later on. Her parents hooked us up with great food for days. It was even better because a lot of family and friends were gathered as well. Yup yup.. the journey as a GODFATHER had a great start... lets get it!
