@Aesopjr for akam1k3's "A Picture A day"

"Roses are red…"

The crumbles are spread, the cookie’s history. Like a pair of dices, double ones. Snake eyes that suddenly revealed themselves. A singlehandedly executed action rocks the boat on a seemingly calm sea. Aware of the fact that there’s something hiding under the surface, it embodies the paradox we call life. The hissing has suddenly gotten previously ignored attention. All eyes on the snake, not even the devil’s advocate can bear the idea of fighting the client’s case. The imagery of the snake disturbing the peace is as old as the history of you and me. Once upon a time it convinced a fellow to take a bite of an apple, but so history actually thought us a lesson, nobody seems to be swallowing his bate.

On the topic of imagery a young and struggling wordsmith can’t miss the opportunity to take the advantage of doing some political campaigning. The apple had a central role back in the days; today we’ve embraced the rose to show courage and osLOVE. Political activeness might be a turn off of odeur proportions, but please stick around for the punch line. I’m a man of my words, arguably “too many", I claim “not enough”. Although silence might be golden, it’s a two edged sword: For he who keeps quiet consents. Desperate times call for desperate measures. To all my couch voters, put down the smartphones. Big Brother, Paradise hotel and The Voice have gotten enough attention, the time is ripe for some makeovers, and television has long taught us that extreme is the way to go. Even though the imagery of apples and roses sugarcoats the homie Stoltenberg’ party, you’ve got the opportunity to create an improved community. I’ve gotten political on my olden days, suggest you do the same! Now there's no need to vote singlehandedly for this or that party, but by expressing one's opinion out loud others might do the same, in, or as a response to it. The louder you go, well, the fewer will listen, so it thought I'd put it in writing.

People, most often men, have dictated the course of history with their different ideas. Some envision world domination, others dream of peace and love, but they all share the common ground of followers. People behind their cause, working towards a goal of some extent. The sound of ten voices screaming YES is definitely louder than 1'000'000 that keeps quiet. Guess the point to with this weeks ramblings is some kind of a reaction to last July's cruelties. Now as we have the capitalistic holyday over us, I'll buy some roses and light a candle to the love that has filled our little country. Love is a powerful force, so may it be with you!

It’s been a pleasure, and I’m convinced it was all mine.
