Yup! Mathallen aka the food hall is opening soon in the Vulkan Oslo area(Grünerløkka). Mathallen is going to be a place for people who love good quality food. Its a huge venue which will be filled with great food, and it will open for the public fall 2012. The other week it kinda had a test weekend in conjunction with a food festival called Forsmak. People could, look at food, learn about food and how its made and try to make it, you could be educated about it, you could buy, and you could get FREE SAMPLES.. haha. It was a great event, they said over 30 thousand people came through. I know ze gang(Creative Collective and BAWS) rolled through and had a great time in the packed hall! Good times for sure. Swear I was full afterwards. Here are some pictures I managed to take during our visit there.
