"Samples, Samples, Samples; music is all around us and most often it has been used in one place and then re-used elsewhere later on. #Samplemonday started with a group of people that wanted to share good music with each other by sharing an original song such as My Jamaican Guy by Grace Jones, and to see if anyone could guess the songs that sampled the song. After a while, more and more people joined in on the fun, and it continued on as a weekly event thus naming the game #Samplemonday. The name was a combination of the two main characteristics of the game; Samples and Monday." - #Samplemonday
