"Taking time off!

How many times haven’t you dreamt of calling in sick? Some do too often, some never even toy with the idea. The thing is that we’re all different, and for some reason, the simple fact causes drama. I would say that acceptance is a quality more appealing than good looks. Getting off my high horse and all, the feeling of being accepted is the dynamo in the everyday struggle sort of speaks. Listen, you deliberately (don’t) do a various numbers of actions each and every day, and it all boils down to the simple truth that actions speaks louder than words, thereby allowing us to conclude with the fact that our actions speak louder than all the things we say. Being accepted, to continue on my chain of thought, is the feeling of fitting in somewhere. Some dread the fact that they can be categorized, others enjoy it as the disguised blessing it is. The backdrop for today’s blurb is set, let’s explore the phenomenon of being different.

I like to give the impression that I got my shit together, and most often I do. Really, not in the sense of having all my cloths folded, shoes shined and safely stored in the closet. In the words of Eminem, I have to clean it out from time to time. I usually have some idea of where my things are, for instance, last month I lost my phone, but my sixth sense told me that it was somewhere in the apartment, so instead of freaking out, I immediately announced the “mishap” on facebook, and approximately a week later it appeared in the pocket of my Levis jeans. Go figure! The missing link, in a way, can be the centre of great despair or you can accept the fact that you sometimes don’t control the situation. Lets be honest, a week off from the Social Medias is probably healthy. I’ll admit that the absence of having Facebook, akam1k3.com and twitter at the tip of my fingers was harder than I thought. Not to be a Pontiac Pilatus or anything, but the bearer of bad news has to break it to you, I urge you all to experience the media rehab. Signs you’re addicted; thinking about a friend’s status, rather than asking what’s on his/her mind. Being extraordinary curious about a friend of a friend newest photo album from his latest trip, which you know very little about, and care even less about hearing about. But the photos are fun to look at never the less! Another tell-sign is if you’re experiencing something hilarious and your immediate reaction is to whip out your Smartphone to tweet, facebook, blog it. The good ol’ test is the “home-clicking”. Count the time you refresh the facebook home-page during an hour, the amount should be a clear indication. My tip is to match it with days off. The list can On n on into the break of dawn but let’s turn the wheel and take a detour back to the differenceness!

To quote another lyricist, the key to success is never giving up. Practice makes perfect, so for y’all underachievers; DreamOn. The fruit of hard labor is a Kodak moment Ocean Blue Picture perfect, hope that you get my metaphor. If the sun always shines, what is there to be done in the garden? Eternal sunshine creates another Sahara to quote a third, and if third time is the charm, I suggest you Find a way to work it out. All jokes and hidden agendas aside, just appreciate. The thing I hope you take with you after having read through yet another of my somewhat unstructured blurbs, is that there’s always a meaning hidden somewhere in the most unstructured chaos. Some have to travel half the globe and enjoy paradise to be able to kick back, others lose their phones. Guess it ends on the same note it began, we’re all different, so let’s try to start the New Year with the ambition of being true to our self, following it the path of our own realization. Some of us stuck in the refrigerator we call Norway, others in the melting pot also known as the Land of the Morning. They say that dawning of day is an insight catalysator; I guess we’re all looking forward to your return then, and furthermore the insight you’re bound to be sharing!"
