I FIGURED I HAVEN’T BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE, SO I MIGHT AS WELL GO BACK AND CHECK OUT THE BEACH SCENE, ENJOY THE COMPANY OF THE FINEST PEEPS AROUND, AND TRY THEIR AUTHENTIC FOOD AND FLAVORS. I’VE BEEN PRIVILEGED ENOUGH TO HAVE GREAT PEOPLE IN MY LIFE TO SHOW ME AROUND THE CITY. NOW LET’S CHECK OUT THE FOOD

@ #5 CHICKEN BBQ’S (TERI-GOLD WINGS) – The chicken is cooked pretty light, crispy, and not too greasy. The chicken skin is very crispy, and the meat is juicy and tasty. Moreover, the sauce on the chicken is very flavorful and finger-licking good! It also comes with a salad with a homemade thousand island dressing that compliments well with the chicken.

@ #4 DEVINE PASTABILITIES TORPASTA’S (DIVINO PASTA – BOWTIE PASTA IN ALFREDO WITH SUNDRIED TOMATO, BASIL AND FETA) – Yes peeps you are not mistaken. It’s pasta shoved inside a 6 inch or footlong bun. Pretty genius and creative idea don’t you think! Talk about carb overload! You can also add chicken, shrimp, beef or sausage with ur pasta. But I think the pasta itself is already filling, flavorful, and very satisfying. The sauce is taste fresh and succulent. I highly recommend everyone to try all the different pastas in this joint. It’s pretty worth it. I know I did. LOL! GETS 4 HOE HOES!
@ #3 LAPPERT’S ICE CREAM’S (KAHLUA TRUFFLE AND BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP IN A WAFFLE CONE WITH A SHOT OF DOLE WHIP AND OREO DUST) – Very unique and distinct flavors -- for example the kahlua truffle has strong alcoholic kick but doesn’t get you drunk, while the banana chocolate chip taste like real bananas, fyi I love bananas! Each flavor compliments and meshes well with other flavors. The shot of dole whip tastes like heaven. The oreo dust adds a different dimension as well, in terms of taste to the already flavorful ice cream. Also, they have unique Hawaiian ice cream flavors that you’re not gonna be able to taste find anywhere in California! GETS 4 ½ HOE HOES!
@ #2 EXTRAORDINARY DESSERT’S (CHOCOLATE CRÈME BRULEE) – The presentation of the food is pretty fancy and impressive. In addition, the taste is decadent and mouthwatering. The crème brulee is rich, creamy, and moist. It’s flavor is pretty unique and one of a kind.
All their desserts here are highly commendable and they have different flavors that suit everyone’s taste buds. All in all, this place will leave u with a good impression and a big smile! Dessert Heaven to the fullest! GETS 4 ½ HOE HOES!
@ #1 PHIL’S BBQ (BBQ CHICKEN AND HALF-RACK RIBS) – WITH FRIES, ONION RINGS AND MACARONI SALAD) – The line just to eat at this joint is pretty crazy. It can go around the whole restaurant. The waiting time however is pretty quick. So in no time you get to satisfy your gastric urges. The ribs are tender juicy and finger-licking good. The sauce is sweet and tangy that makes the meal more delightful. The chicken is done to perfection, mesquite grilled and well sauced in a tangy sauce. The onion rings are perfectly battered and served in huge portions. Also, the fries are nice and crispy, while the macaroni salad is just flavored right to compliment well with the meat. All in All, I pick this meal as my number choice for the week due to the humongous portions and the quality of taste! GETS 5 HOE HOES!
